Removing barriers to work

September 5, 2019

It's been 6 months since National Homeless Collective launched its new op shop in East Brunswick. In that time, we've employed 6 women experiencing homelessness, providing over 600 hours of paid work.

We're changing employment by removing simple barriers. Our workers are free to start and finish when they like and are paid for those hours worked. They're also provided with topped-up Mykis to get to and from the store.

If you're in Melbourne, find us at 50 Lygon Street, Brunswick East! kalaspace.org.au
