January 5, 2019

On Tuesday 16th November, five student teams that completed Victoria University’s 2018 VU Academy Activator program faced the ultimate entrepreneurial challenge: pitching for the first time to an expert panel of judges for the opportunity to win $5,000 seed funding towards their idea and specialised mentorship.

The VU Academy Activator is a free, 10 week entrepreneurial program open to all VU students and VU Alumni featuring hands-on, skill-based weekly workshops as well as mentorship, prototyping, fireside chats, and networking events. The program was written by specialist Victoria University staff with expertise in startups, design, tech and social enterprise.
