Quickie Podcast Feature

Thank you to Books+Publishing for doing a feature on Quickie! It was great to put a spotlight on my podcast. With its first episode debuting in 2017, Quickie has been described by founder and host Nevena Spirovska as a ‘feminist podcast that shoots straight from the lip’. Each episode is recorded in a single take, and asks guests about the path that lead them to the careers they have today. A number of Australian and international writers and editors have been interviewed, including comedy writer Catherine Deveny, political commentator Jamila Rizvi, comedy writer Lucy Valentine, data journalist Mona Chalabi and author of The Mothers, Brit Bennett, among others. Home Stretch on Q&A

The Home Stretch is very excited about tonight’s Q&A episode - it's a huge milestone for foster care as it will feature comedian, writer, and former foster care kid Corey White. He’ll be speaking about his experience in care and why the Victorian Government must extend the age of care to 21.
