Youth Dialogue United Nations General Assembly

BRINGING THE UN CLOSER TO YOUNG PEOPLE As part of his commitment to bring the United Nations closer to young people, the President of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Lajčák will convene a Youth Dialogue on 30 May 2018. This one-day event seeks to listen to the ideas, needs and concerns of young people on bridging education and skills training with employment in the 21st century, as well as on the prevention of radicalization. The event further aims to galvanize the efforts of many global alliances and initiatives that are empowering young people. I will be facilitating a session on 'violence' and assisting with the creation of the Youth Dialogue Rec

Youth Dialogue @ United Nations CSW62

It's an absolute honour to be selected to speak at the United Nations Youth Dialogue #CSW62. The Youth Dialogue will be a space for discussion on how young rural women and girls can thrive as leaders and be supported to overcome structural barriers they face, and also identify what policies and practices are required to tackle these barriers. Discussion will also include the participation and access of young women and girls to media, information and communications technologies, and their impact on and use as instruments for advancement and empowerment. Tickets available here.
