Hey, Nevena here

I'm a social-change campaigner based in Melbourne. My activism is centered around climate action, LGBTIQ rights and social equity. I work as a campaigner, MC, speaker, panellist and facilitator, freelance writer and community volunteer.

In March 2020, I set up the Coronavirus Community Fund in partnership with the National Homeless Collective to provide immediate support to single parents and people with disability impacted by coronavirus who are at risk of homelessness or disproportionately disadvantaged by the COVID-19 situation.

In 2020, I worked with a group that launched Climate Five to support people to take 5 simple steps to take climate action. We just launched Climate Block, a free browser extension that blocks 300+ websites connected to climate change denial. Download it today on Chrome and Firefox.

Since 2018, I've been the Co-Convener of the Victorian Gay & Lesbian Rights Lobby, working towards equality, social justice and human rights for members of the LGBTIQ community.

From 2016-2019, I was volunteer Vice President of National Homeless Collective, the governing body of Melbourne Period Project, Sleeping Bags for the Homelessness, Secret Women's Business, Plate Up Project and The School Project.

In 2018, I co-facilitated and was the resident Social Impact Expert at VU Activator. The Activator was designed for students with an interest in making a positive difference whilst creating a sustainable business. Five successful organisations have been launched following VU Activator.

I've worked with the United Nations, Amnesty International, Parliament of Victoria, Deakin University, Swinburne University, Victoria University, RMIT, Biomedicine Melbourne, MPavillion, ABC TV, Triple J, VICE, i-D Magazine, Golden Plains Music Festival, Emerging Writers' Festival, 3RRR, Philanthropy Melbourne, Screenshot-magazine, Ladies of Leisure, & many more.

I've recently had the pleasure of working with:
